I thought this would be interesting to share to everyone and to see if this should be implemented in the game.

I modded ssl to make the graphics look a bit more... sexy i guess. Me personal i think when these effects are added they look really nice, they are not needed, but when added you can really notice the difference compared to the normal graphics. Will also be using some of the screenshots which i have created as signatures for members of the forums. Here's a list of things in which i added to achieve this:
    • Added a Bloom effect (makes any white objects brighter)
    • Ambient occlusion
    • DOF (Cant really see any difference in the screenshot)
    • Lens dirt
    • Lenz flare
    • Vibrance (Makes the game look brighter, colors stand out more)
    • SMAA + FXAA (No difference, this does not effect the game)
There are other effects in which can be added to the game but i haven't tried them out yet.

Here's an example on what the game looks like when these effects are added:
EDIT: Made some small changes, for example you can now see the DOF

How i was able to achieve all these effects: http://reshade.me/

I hope you found this cool as much as i did. Any feedback as always is very much appreciated. Once the tutorial is up, then it would be nice to see screenshots of different effects which people have created using this program.
Tutorial is coming for anyone who wants these effects added in the game (will add it by today).

NOTE: When these effects are added to the game it really affects the performance of the game. Only add the effects if you have a high end computer. Will not take an responsibility if your computer/laptops explodes due to them not being able to run this correctly. I would only recommend anyone doing this with the minimum specs of: gt 640, intel i3, 6GB of ram and around 500GB on your hard drive. With this you could probably get around 20-30fps.

Ohhh modding community is invading SSL now! To me it looks like you increased the brightness all the way up. I think the graphics are pretty nice already but what you can try is improving effect quality. Boring circular explosions? Change them to smokes and fire. I would love to see more graphical options available instead of just v-sync and overall quality though.

oops didn't realize that was a thing.

I can see how it looks like ive just turned up the brightness, so maybe i should tone that down a little. Also smoke and fire sounds like a good idea, like fire/smoke particles come off the tank when ever its hit.

Airstrike's explosion effect is pretty good. Can you make all explosions like that, and bigger explosions with more smoky effects? Easier than starting from scratch.

If you could remove the effects from the bottom part of the screen I think it would look much better (hard to see the xp imo).

I would looove to know how to do this! Tutorial pls

The visuals from the start were fine, but I still think kChamp could've done even more with it, if he's not planning on improving them anytime in the future.

I just hope in the near future that kchamp adds more of an advance graphical setting menu, like RumMumMario said. I will release the tutorial tomorrow :). Also may I ask what pc specs you have?
