I think you could add a plane dropping the supplies down.

 

I disagree.
It just adds more lag.

 

Just think of a plane that's flying just above the screen

 

alternatively this could be a feature for the high/ very high quality setup. but anyway, i don't perceive this as an urgent issue.. and there are a lot of more important suggestions that were not implemented yet and probably won't be implemented for quite a long time.. so i think this one will be neither..
