Stupid Question: How to add friends via ShellShock?

I'm new, don't ask.

Um... but I've been wondering how to add friends without being in a game with them.

Like, if I knew someone outside of ShellShock who plays it, is there any way to add them in the game?

If that makes sense. I didn't find anything on google search, so I'm here.

(you need to log in of course)

 

I'm not sure what you're asking. Your friend's list is linked to your Steam account, so whoever you have added on Steam will be displayed as your friend in-game.
