Restrictive chat filters auto muting even without profanity filter turned on?

So, my friends and I have noticed some rather... restrictive chat filters introduced into the game that has made it quite a hassle to play. Every time a bad word gets flagged as too vulgar in this recent update, it just mutes the person and they have to relog for people to see what they say. I get having a profanity filter for younger kids playing, but what I don't get is restricting the game EVEN MORE for the people that don't need a profanity filter!
