Random Events

    Random Events would add a surprise element to the game which would benefit or hinder all the people or a single person depending on what, where, and when. With random events, it would not be biased to one person in specific who pays to play. Anybody can benefit from a random event whether they just started or are a prestige 10. With this being said in the game creation settings for random events, and it could be turned off or on. There are various random events that I could come up with based off of events in Kirby Air Ride and the new Super Smash Brothers. Smash Run.

    Rarity is on a star scale, 1 being frequent and 5 being very rare.

    1. Meteor Storm ! *****
    Description: Throughout the map in a random formation asteroids drop down from the sky and hit the land (and tanks) below. They do 20 damage each.
    Time: The Meteor Storm can last from 1-3 turns, and meteors rain once per turn.
    Effects: Because this event is a nuisance, each person regardless of if they got hit or not, gets a 10XP bonus.

    2. Floating Island ****
    Description: A floating island appears, and acts as normal terrain that can be driven on. It acts as a great defense, but the only way to get up to one is via jet pack.
    Time: A floating island can last 5 turns to the entirety of a game.
    Effects: Acts as a defense, but can also block some pre-aimed shots.

    3. UFO ***
    Description: A very large and slow moving UFO appears onscreen and stops each turn. This event is in a way optional because to activate it, drive underneath the UFO once it's stopped.
    Time: The UFO lasts for one strafe which can be around 5 turns.
    Effects: When you drive underneath the stopped UFO, one of two things can happen. It can either blast a red beam which inflicts 50 damage, or it can blast a green beam with heals 50 damage. It's a wildcard event.

    4. Blind Spot **
    Description: In a nutshell the screen turns completely black making it very hard to see, with the exception of lightning every so often.
    Time: This will last one full turn.
    Effects: Turns the screen pitch black and the only help is a lit aiming circle. Lightning flashes every couple seconds to help with where enemies are. After the turn, everyone receives 5 bonus XP.

    5. Rubber Floor ***
    Description: Turns the ground into rubber, any weapon will bounce once regardless of what it is, and so will boxes that land.
    Time: This can last 1-3 turns
    Effects: Since every weapon can bounce now, it adds a whole new strategy factor. Also boxes can be tricky to catch since they are bouncing.

    6. Recruit Tank *
    Description: A neutral gray tank appears on the field until touched, whichever team touches the tank will claim it as theirs and will fire at the other team.
    Time: The tank lasts 5-10 turns.
    Effects: The tank is liable to miss, and also only shoots starter weapons.

    7. Incendiary Rise ****
    Description: The ground starts shaking and some parts explode into flame particles, with unlucky tanks getting hit.
    Time: Lasts 1-2 turns.
    Effects: The fire rises from random portions in the ground, and the size varies too, from flame particles, blaze particles, or even inferno particles.

    8. Fog of War ***
    Description: Fog is dense on the bottom of the map where the tanks are, making it difficult to see.
    Time: Can last 1-3 turns.
    Effects: You can only see the upper portion of the map, any tanks, crates, or weapons on the ground level are very difficult to see. After the fog is over every tank receives 7 bonus XP

    9. Treasure Chest ! *****
    Description: Drops a single treasure chest in the middle of the map.
    Time: Until the treasure chest is opened.
    Effects: The treasure chest is always in the middle of the map, and has to be shot open first. Once it is open, drive into the tank to earn the prize. The prize you ask? Maybe a nice tank coin reward.

    10. Vrai Faux! **
    Description: Boxes that enter the stage have a chance to be fake.
    Time: Can last 5-10 turns.
    Effects: When coming into contact with a fake box, it will blow up like a grenade and deal 20 damage. Fake flying boxes turn into fireworks when hit. There is a subtle difference in appearance.

    11. Nos Thrust *
    Description: Everybody's tank moves at double the speed.
    Time: Lasts a single turn.
    Effects: All it really does is make the tanks go faster, unless there is a crate or trying to get away from an enemy there is no use to this aside from humor.

    12. Ray of Light *****
    Description: Throughout the map in a random beams of light shine down from the sky and reach the land (and tanks) below. They heal 20 damage each.
    Time: Can last 1-3 turns.
    Effects: The exact opposite of meteor storm, each beam heals 20 damage. People can get lucky here.

    13. Box Frenzy ****
    Description: For the next couple of turns, up to 4 boxes can fall on the map at a time, and they are all real.
    Time: 1-5 turns.
    Effects: More and more boxes fall onto the field, it turns into a box frenzy

    14. Pillar *
    Description: A giant pillar appears in the middle of the map.
    Time: Lasts until it is destroyed or an earthquake levels it.
    Effects: All it does is spawn a giant pillar in the middle of the map which can block shots.

    15. Mind of it's Own **
    Description: Each tank moves itself, and does it's own thing without human control.
    Time: Lasts 1 turn.
    Effects: It can be erratic, it could drive you into a pit or where you want to be, it's all up to the tank !

    16. Copy Cats *
    Description: Each person is forced to shoot the same weapon
    Time: Can last 1-3 turns
    Effects: Each person in a turn must shoot the same weapon, but on the plus side, it could be a weapon you don't have yet. Maybe a Nuke? Maybe a roller?

    17. Crazy Wind ***
    Description: Wind appears, and can also change during the turn ! It is crazy wind.
    Time: Lasts 1-3 turns
    Effects: The wind can change during the turn, but only by intervals of 1-2 each change.

    18. Supersized Rebound **
    Description: A giant rebound line appears on the map, and it can be used or not.
    Time: Lasts 1 turn.
    Effects: Really just acts as a normal rebound line, but is huge.

    Apprieate all the hard work you put into this. Maybe this could be a seperate mode? I don't see it making it on game but cool ideas and descriptions.
