So these guys get 2 prestige 10 players on their team and one prestige 8, all three of them crit canons, they get all the bloody 2x upgrades, they have the stupid crate hook maxed out, they hit their damn target every turn with barely even need to aim... and STILL they get pissed when i stack once? they want to get mad when someone pops a shield? they want to complain when someone pops an item crate? why?

Why spend so much money maxing out everything and then getting weapons that can kill in 1 turn with a 2x upgrade, only to STILL get pissy when someone pops a shield?

Spend money maxing out all weapons then get pissed off when someone is having a stack match?

Spend money maxing out armour then get pissed when a new player pops a shield?

Spend time and money getting to prestige 30+ with EVERYTHING activated and MAXED, then get mad when a player stacks for magic shower or seagul?

    Why?

You do realize that you can get a lot of damage with seagull or magic shower without stacking right?

It's not only the veterans who get mad... Most of them, low prestige or not, DID NOT SPEND their money here. If they have everything maxed, it's because they are a bunch of addicted players (that have nothing more to do in their lives). Now, the reason why we dont like people using shield: It's because we want to shoot the player and not waste our time because you're going to lose and want to revert the situation using shield.

If you can't play with them equally I advise you to look for another room. You dont want to lose, we don't want shield users in our rooms. Simple like that.

Kicking them after or leaving the game during/after always solves this.
You can't change your typical player but can change how you react to it. ;)

The reason we (and by "we" I mean not including me anymore but I still apply to this) get angry at you using shields is because you're not playing fairly. Whether you want to realize it this way or not, top players, with all their "big weapons" and whatnot, are playing fairly. You're not.

Yes, shields are a part of the game. Yes, supplies are a part of the game. That doesn't change the fact that they make you invincible and give you more powerful weapons at turn 8, which is unfair. And I know what you're thinking: How is it unfair if I'm a lower level, they're a higher level, and they still have good weapons at turn 8 and I don't?

In the same way you can look at opening doors with the probability of something being behind them, there's two ways to look at it. You can have 1000 doors, and behind one of them is a prize. Supposedly, you have a one out of one thousand chance of winning, right? But also, you have a one in two chance. How? Because at the end of the day, you either open the door with the prize or you don't.

Even though they have significantly better weapons at turn 8, the fact is they didn't drop supplies. They are playing fairly. So if you drop supplies so you can get better weapons or use shields to play on par with them, in your mind this is "fair;" yet in reality it actually isn't because you dropped supplies and/or used a shield, while they did not.

Though honestly, I don't blame you for using shields and supplies against high ranked players. I'd run petrified from me if I were a low level.

There is a simple way to avoid all these unfair actions in game:

Go to a room that you can play equally with other players, with good or bad weapons.

    That was perfect English :D
Not to mention a dude that talks in some other language that google translate can't translate (maybe Persian) spammed shields per game per turn at the second he could be dead in dm. I believe he was prestige 1 or under and he was in teams with his friend. I got pissed so stayed the next match in 2v2. My teammate quit and another vet player came in about high prestige. They do the same but my teammate use quake and kill him. So pretty much using shield can piss people off.

i like having 414 items ._. feels like an accomplishment to me. People who are new to this game just use items just cause they think it's the norm or it's does not really matter if they use them or not. I don't get mad i just laugh at them

@kibbles , here is my personal explanation.
Veterans don't use items for their intended purpose. We have earned tank coins in-game, and don't even spend them on items. We use them on Deluxe, Upgrade Tokens (if need be), and other stuff like that. All shields and stuff we get are earned from boxes. The only time pros use items is to enrage their friends. TRUE elite players don't use them when they want to (good job recovering, @jeromegaines2 !).
When a low level does it, it's kinda appalling when they use a shield. It just delays the game two turns (which is why you shouldn't have any items when you start, not the two of each which are automatically given) . Supplies? Well, there is no point. I haven't lost to a lvl 30> since I was p1. That being said, when they drop more weapons down, it is almost an unfair win.
Many players don't buy tank coins. Ever. They grind them out, like me. We earn everything we get. Just because you have less because you are new doesn't mean we are punks in anyway. Your implications of that don't improve your argument.
We hate stacking, because most times, it is done incorrectly. There is a-hole stacking, the type we hate, and tactical stacking, which is an ingenius tactic, which I still use sometimes to this day. A-hole stacking is the type no one likes, because you do it, well, to be an a-hole. Tactical stacking is stacking on the enemy who shot the turn before you, preferably a weaker opponent. THAT is good stacking. You were probably not using tactic stacking, leading to their fair reaction.

And the moral: Don't go ranting on all prestige people because some three people complained about your style of play (which from my view, they had an appropriate reaction).

The problem isn't about the players but the game's incredibly biased system of money > skill.

If you want a straight, blunt answer to why people get mad at stackers, it gives the person who would have won anyways less exp. that's all there is to it

If Kyle has the time (and this is because I don't want to see the steam version get delayed) he should implement a ranked/unranked system. Where ranked mode is where vets play with vets and the noobs play with noobs and unranked would be what we have now with Ssl2 but offers a little less xp. That way the vets don't have to deal with noobish tactics (as often) and noobs don't get picked off from the higher ups.

Well, that could be a little hard to enforce. Remember: Kyle almost never listens to the community, nevermind help us out. However, I think that is a good idea. I just doubt he will be on the forums before the release to even check it out. .-.

Just to clarify something, I would not at all consider those two players to be "veterans". They sound like xp farmers to me. There are a bunch of players who advance quickly by joining the same room and teaming up against lower level players (or against everyone else). They even team up in FFA games. These are players who get ahead based on collusion, not skill. So to call them "veterans" is probably not a good description.

When I am in a room with these farmers, I leave because its really not a form of fair play.

Another type of player to watch out for is the prestige players who only play with non-prestige. They are the solo xp-farmer. ;) Also the high level prestiges who only host and only play 1v1 battles on only one map are another type of farmer.

I do that, but I tend not to kick anyone except noobs. My games are legit, even if they are 1v1. I just prefer playing that, because when I play with more, people always leave. It then ends up a 1v1 anyways.

you can get more dmg with seagull without stacking by using the walls and on top of that you don't sound like a whiny kid. People dont spend money on the game to kick your butt. They spend money on the game so they can have more fun. And when you stack and use a shield it eliminates the potential amount of fun the game holds.
